Exciting Options for Your Bahama Cruise
By | February 5, 2010
Now that the hurricane season is basically over, it’s the perfect time to head out for a Bahama cruise! With the threat of hurricanes past, you can relax and know that your vacation in “The Isles of June” will be a gorgeous one. Just one question remains: Do you know which cruise is best for you?
You’ll find that there are dozens of companies that have charters to the Bahamas. From short day trips to voyages that last more than a week, the cruises vary. One fantastic way to relax and enjoy yourself when you don’t have much time off is to take a one-cruise to Grand Bahama Island. You can embark from Fort Lauderdale. It’s definitely the most economical cruise out there!
Then again, maybe you’d much prefer a longer Bahama cruise. No problem there. You’ve got options that range from three day weekend voyages originating in Miami, to six day cruises that embark from Norfolk Virginia, to ten day cruises that depart from Baltimore, Maryland. And of course, the Bahamas are just a beautiful trip away from the east coast of the United States. Regardless of how long you have available for your cruise, you’re sure to find the perfect opportunity waiting for you!
And while you’re enjoying your cruise, don’t forget to hit the buffets, play some games, and take in all the entertainment. Cruise ships often have musical acts that look like they came straight from Las Vegas. You could also relax by a pool, enjoy a romantic dance after dinner, or have some drinks in the lounge. Thinking about taking the whole family? Great news: There are lots of family cruises with day cares, family activities, and guided games for kids.
Remember, every member of your Bahama cruise party will need to have a valid passport, even if you’re visiting the islands from the United States or Canada. If you hail from another part of the world, you’ll need a visa before you can enter the Bahamas. So be sure you research to find out what you’ll need ahead of time. Oh, and have a Great Trip!!
